Fall Crafts

Hello!  Happy Tuesday!  I am not an organized person, sadly, so I have to say thanks to Kate and her three friends who have been doing these link ups!  I dont think I would have been motivated to get my decor done! Today I will be teaching you how to make your own "Book Page Wreath".  It is a very long process, but they are beautiful when your finished.
Isn't she lovely?  I especially love the one random white rose.  Im not sure how that got in there.

OK, lets show you how to build this thing!

Find yourself a book with pretty pages or a stack of news paper.  There are many options of what you can use.  My sister used an old book with black and white pictures in it.
You can use regular paper as well, or even if you wanted to coffee filters.

Then you want to draw a spiral on your page then cut along the line.

Here is ware you need some patients.  After cutting out your spirals you start in the center and roll it out to the ends...

Spiral
Make sure your spaces stay similar in size.

Rolling
You can start from the middle or the end, try both to see what one you like more.

Then let go.

I decided to burn the edges of my roses...

BE CAREFUL
I burnt myself a ton :-/, and the house was full of smoke.
(We moved the burning part outside after one...small incident ;-)  )

1:00 AM....
Yes, this is a mess...A creative mess that is.

Here is a rose that was rolled from the inside out.  My sister decided on a book with more pictures.

Finally at 3:30 AM I was finished and was able to hang it on my door the next day!

Thanks for coming and seeing my Book Wreath!  I hope that if you decide to make one, you enjoy yourself!

Grand Total: $5.00!

I would LOVE to hear what you think!
 Leave me a comment. :-)
