My Soon To Be Dinning Room Table

Hello!  Here is another really great deal I have to tell all of you about.  These are the legs to my new dinning room table!  The top is still in the jeep, but I just couldn't wait to show you!  Last Saturday my husband and I went to a few Yard Sales!

As we were driving past this yard sale I had Hubs (my husband-his blog name) SLAM on the breaks and turn around, while I was praying that whatever belonged to

THIS LEG
was not sold...(the table was behind a bush and this was all I could see).

As I casually hopped out of my car, I tried not to radiate too much excitement.  I calmly ask the lady behind the "Check Out" table.  "I am interested in that table over there, how much are you selling it for? "

In response I get a gentleman (Lady's Husband) who asks in return..."How much to you think a beautiful Antique like that should cost"?

Awe...My heart sunk because usually that response results in a price too high for my liking.  Time to real it in I thought and said " Well, lets go look at this Antique and I can let you know how much I will have to spend to make it sing".  *

In the end, he offered me $35.00 and I took that offer!

I can't wait to show you what I am doing with it!  Your going to LOVE my dinning space!

* When you are trying to make a deal at a yard sale keep yourself calm,  be polite, and be confident.  You are out to save money, if you wanted to spend a fortune you would have bought it new.  What ever happens, make sure you are polite, these people are probably tired from getting up early, and lugging all that stuff out.  TIP:  I always say good morning, and ask them how their sale is going.
